AL BURAIMI: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology has commenced construction of five new bridges on the Sohar-Al Buraimi road at a cost exceeding RO 6 million.


The project, currently 8 per cent complete, aims to enhance road safety, improve traffic flow and support trade and economic activity along one of Oman’s most important national highways. Completion is scheduled within 18 months, with final delivery expected by the end of 2026. — ONA
