

Muscat: The Ministry of Health urged donors to continue donating blood and platelets to ensure a steady supply for patients in need, following the cancellation of several blood donation campaigns this week.
In a statement, the ministry reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining sufficient stocks of blood units and components, calling on valued donors to uphold their humanitarian role during this period.
The ministry encouraged the public to visit designated blood donation centres according to the following schedules:
Central Blood Bank (Bausher):
Saturday to Thursday: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
Seeb Blood Donation Centre (al Araimi Boulevard):
Sunday to Friday: 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm
The ministry stressed that blood and platelet donations remain vital for saving lives and supporting patients requiring urgent medical care.
