Muscat: The excitement of the Beach Soccer League continues on Saturday, with the matches of Round 11, featuring three highly anticipated encounters to be played on the sand pitches at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher and the Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah. With the league approaching its decisive final stages, competition is intensifying as teams battle for key positions in the standings.


The round will kick off at 4 pm with a clash between Salalah and Saham in Bausher, in a match where both sides will be eager to get back on track. Saham enter the match aiming to regain their winning form after a period of inconsistency, as they currently sit fourth with 12 points.

Meanwhile, Salalah, who are in sixth place with 6 points, will be hoping to secure a morale-boosting victory to restore confidence ahead of the final stretch of the season.


In Salalah, attention will turn to the meeting between league leaders Al Amerat and Taqah at 4:30 pm on the sand pitch at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Entertainment. Al Amerat go into the match in outstanding form, having delivered strong performances throughout the season to establish themselves as the leading contenders to retain the title. Sitting at the top of the table with 27 points, the defending champions will be looking to continue their winning run and further cement their position at the summit. On the other hand, Taqah are seeking a morale-boosting result as they try to end a difficult run of form, having lost all nine of their matches so far and currently occupying the bottom spot in the standings.

The round will conclude with a competitive encounter between Mirbat and Masirah at 5:45 pm in Bausher. Masirah, third in the table with 19 points, will be aiming to maintain their positive momentum and strengthen their place among the top teams, relying on the strong cohesion and physical presence that have characterised their performances this season. Meanwhile, Mirbat, who sit fifth with 6 points, will be determined to secure a positive result that could improve their position in the standings and keep their hopes alive for the remainder of the league.
