Excitement continues on Thursday in the 2025–2026 Beach Soccer League as the 12th round gets underway, in what is considered one of the most crucial rounds of the season, with the competition nearing its conclusion and the battle intensifying for the top positions, whether in the race for the runners-up spot or for improving standings in the league table.
The round opens with a highly anticipated clash between Al Oruba and Masirah at the sandy pitch of the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bousher, in a match that carries great competitive significance as it represents a direct battle for second place.
Al Oruba entered the match in third place with 21 points, determined to secure a victory that would allow them to reclaim the runners-up position and finish their season on a positive note. The team has produced a series of strong performances in recent rounds, standing out for their solid defensive organisation and quick attacking transitions, which have proven to be a decisive factor in many matches.
Masirah, on the other hand, comes into the fixture sitting in second place with 22 points, aiming to protect their position ahead of the final round, which would give them a major psychological advantage in the battle for second place.
