Muscat: Al Amerat Club were crowned champions of the 2025–26 Beach Soccer League after a commanding 9–1 victory over Salalah Club in their Round 11 encounter at the sandy pitch of the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher on Monday. The result secured Al Amerat the title with one round remaining in the season.

Al Amerat entered the match determined to seal the title early, and that intent was clear from the opening minutes as they imposed strong control over the game. Yaqdhan al Hindasi opened the scoring in the sixth minute after a well-worked attacking move, finishing powerfully into the net. Just one minute later, the same player struck again, capitalising on defensive confusion to double his side’s lead and give Al Amerat a strong early advantage in both scoreline and performance.

Salalah attempted to respond through individual efforts and counter-attacks, but Al Amerat’s solid defence and alert goalkeeper prevented any reduction in the deficit, and the first period ended with Al Amerat leading 2–0.

At the start of the second period, Al Amerat maintained their high pressing and dominance. Al Hindasi completed his hat-trick by scoring the third goal, continuing his outstanding performance. The attacking pressure continued, allowing Salem al Araimi to add the fourth goal with a close-range finish. Salalah were unable to reorganise or stem the attacking flow, and Al Hindasi struck again to make it five amid a clear defensive collapse.

Khalid al Araimi then added the sixth goal, followed by Ahmed al Owaisi, who made it seven, before Yahya al Muraiki scored the eighth. Salalah managed to score their only goal during this period, but Al Amerat ended the second period with a commanding 8–1 lead.

With this emphatic victory, Al Amerat raised their tally to 33 points.

In the third period, Al Amerat continued to dominate despite a slight drop in tempo after the result was virtually assured. Badr al Nasri added the ninth goal, confirming Al Amerat’s complete control of the match. Salalah tried to take advantage of the slower pace and attempted to narrow the gap, with Mohammed Shemmass coming closest by scoring Salalah’s only goal, but the final score remained a convincing 9–1 in favour of Al Amerat.

With this emphatic victory, Al Amerat raised their tally to 33 points and mathematically secured the 2025–26 Beach Soccer League title with one round still to play.
