Minimum temperatures to drop below 20°C in Muscat

The minimum temperatures in Oman are likely to drop to below 20°C in several governorates starting Sunday.

In Khasab, it will be expected to be 16°C, Muscat 18°C, Duqm 15 °C, and Salalah 18°C.

The maximum temperatures will be between 20°C and 23°C, except for Salalah, where it could be around 25°C.

Meanwhile, some coastal areas of Muscat and Musandam Governorates on Saturday are experiencing light rains, and it is expected that the flow of clouds will continue with opportunities for scattered rainfall in parts of Muscat Governorate, in addition to the North and South Al Sharqiyah, Al Batinah, Dhofar, and Musandam Governorates during the coming hours. 

SEA STATE:  Moderate along most of the coasts with a maximum wave height of 1.25 to 2.0 meters.

Due to the northwesterly wind activity over large parts of the Sultanate of Oman, occasional decrease in horizontal visibility during dust and sand Raising, especially in desert and open areas.
