Defending champions Al Amerat continued their dominant march towards retaining the 2025-26 Oman Beach Soccer League title after securing a thrilling 7-6 victory over Al Oruba in the top clash of the seventh round. The highly anticipated encounter, played at the Sands Court of the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex, lived up to expectations as both teams showcased top-level attacking quality from both sides.

Al Amerat’s offensive power was on full display, led by a stunning hat-trick from Sami al Balushi, followed by a brace from Oman national team player Khalid al Oraimi, while Nooh al Zadjali and Abdullah al Souti added one goal each. The champions’ depth and precision in the final third proved decisive in securing full points from a competitive encounter.

On the other side, Al Oruba, who entered the match as one of the closest challengers to Al Amerat this season, fought hard until the final whistle. Their goals were scored by Musallam al Oraimi, Mohammed al Oraimi, Omar al Farsi, Majid al Ghafri and Sameer al Saadi. Despite the loss, Al Oruba remained strong contenders in the league order.

The victory further strengthens Al Amerat’s impressive campaign to 18 points in the first place which has seen them maintain remarkable form across recent rounds. Prior to the seventh round, they delivered a commanding 12–1 win against Mirbat, followed by a 5-2 win over Salalah and earlier a convincing 9-1 triumph over Taqah.

MASIRAH, MIRBAT WIN

In another seventh-round fixture, Masirah edged Saham 2–1 in a tightly contested match at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex. Masirah’s discipline and improved defensive structure helped them secure three vital points as they continued their climb up the standings after mixed results earlier in the season.

Meanwhile in Salalah, Mirbat clinched a dramatic 5–4 victory over Taqah, earning a much-needed win to keep their campaign on track. The high-scoring encounter reflected the fierce competition among mid-table teams battling to improve their league positions. Taqah, despite showing improvement in offensive play, remained in search of consistency after suffering several losses this season.

The 2025-26 Oman Beach Soccer League, featured seven participating clubs including: Al Amerat, Al Oruba, Mirbat, Saham, Masirah, Taqah and Salalah. All the teams will continue to deliver top show encounters in order to vie for this season's beach soccer league title.
