

Al Buraimi: The Khatm Al Shiklah border post in Al Buraimi Governorate marked the 54th Union Day of the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday, celebrating the strong and enduring ties between the Sultanate of Oman and the UAE.
The event, organised by the Secretariat General for National Celebrations, featured a variety of performances, including musical pieces presented by the Royal Oman Police Band. Students from the Al Buraimi Directorate of Education also took part in special performances accompanied by songs themed around unity and close relations, including “Awasir Al Mahabba” and “Al Tawasol”.
The celebration concluded with the presentation of commemorative gifts to several Emirati officials attending the event. A number of officers from the Al Buraimi Police Command and border centres in the city of Al Ain were also present.
The Sultanate of Oman’s participation reflects the deep-rooted bonds and shared heritage that continue to strengthen relations between Oman and the United Arab Emirates as the UAE marks its 54th Union Day.
