The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MHT) is conducting a series of road shows in the People's Republic of China from December 1 to 5.

These workshops will be held in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou to strengthen the Sultanate of Oman's presence in Asian tourism markets.

The official delegation participating in these events is headed by Azzan bin Qasim al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry for Tourism, and will include representatives from 22 Omani tourism institutions. This reflects the importance of this visit in supporting the Sultanate's international promotional efforts.

The program also includes the launch of a direct flight by Eastern Airlines to Beijing Daxing International Airport on December 30, in cooperation with Oman Airports.

Road shows in Chinese cities will provide a specialized promotional platform to foster cooperation between participating Omani tourism companies and hotels and their Chinese counterparts.

Several meetings will also be held during the events with major Chinese tourism companies to present promising investment opportunities in the Sultanate's tourism sector. The focus will be on developing innovative products targeting new segments of travelers, which will strengthen Oman's presence in the Chinese market and open up prospects for future investments.
