

MUSCAT: Oman is participating in the OIC Halal Exhibition 2025 in Istanbul to promote trade, investment, and exports in the growing global halal economy. Led by Ibtisam bint Ahmed al Faroojiyah, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion for Investment Promotion, the delegation will showcase Oman’s competitive advantages, including its strategic location, stable economy, and business-friendly incentives.
The visit includes the 'Advantage Oman-Türkiye' business dialogue with senior Turkish investors and institutions to explore partnership opportunities in halal food, pharmaceuticals, food technology, and logistics sectors.
Ibtisam bint Ahmed al Faroojiyah highlighted the strong Oman-Türkiye economic ties and urged investors to tap into Oman’s promising halal sector, supporting the goals of Oman Vision 2040 to diversify income sources and enhance national competitiveness. — ONA
