Sohar, Seeb hold top spots at Jetour Cup

Matchday six of the Jetour Cup 2025–2026 witnessed intense and decisive encounters across both groups, bringing notable changes to the standings and increasing the excitement as teams push toward qualification.


In Group One, Sur secured an important 2–1 victory over Oman Club at Seeb Stadium. Hamid al Wahaibi and Samih al Sahni found the back of the net for Sur, while Walid al Musallami scored Oman’s lone goal.


In the second match, Bahla played out a 2–2 draw with Dhofar at Nizwa Sports Complex, with Bahla’s goals scored by Musab Al Riyami and Faisal Al Balushi, while Dhofar responded through Mohammed Al Habsi and Uday Khadr Al Qarra.


The group’s fixtures concluded with Seeb defeating Al Nasr 2–0 at Seeb Sports Complex.


These results allowed Seeb to maintain its position at the top of Group One with 10 points, collected from three wins, one draw, and one loss. Sur followed in second place with 9 points, while Al Nasr moved to third with 8 points. Oman Club remained in fourth place with 7 points, followed by Samayil in fifth with 5 points, level with Bahla, who also hold 5 points but with an extra match played. Dhofar stayed at the bottom of the table with 4 points.


In Group Two, Ibri opened the round with a convincing 2–0 win over Saham at Al Buraimi Sports Complex, with both goals scored by Bissan Jacques.


Meanwhile, Sohar secured a narrow 1–0 victory over Al Shabab at Al Rustaq Sports Complex courtesy of a decisive strike from Abdullah al Balushi.


The group’s final match saw Al Rustaq and Al Nahdha settle for a goalless draw (0–0), also at Al Buraimi Sports Complex.


Following these results, Sohar maintained its lead at the top of Group Two with 11 points and no losses so far. Ibri climbed to second place with 10 points from six matches, while Al Nahda followed closely in third with 9 points. Al Rustaq settled in fourth with 7 points, ahead of Al Shabab, who sit in fifth place with 6 points. Saham and Al Khabourah occupy the last two spots with 3 points and 2 points, respectively.
