MUSCAT: The thirty-first round of political consultation sessions between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of the Netherlands was held at the Foreign Ministry.


The Omani side was chaired by Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali al Harthy, Under-Secretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, while the Dutch side was chaired by Christiaan Rebergen, Secretary-General of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs.


The consultations reviewed the relations between the two countries and explored areas of cooperation in the energy, logistics and education sectors. Both sides emphasised their keenness to continue developing relations across various fields. A set of regional and international issues of common interest were also discussed.


The session was attended by Maartje Peters, Ambassador of the Netherlands to Oman, along with several officials from both sides. - ONA
