The deadline for submission of bids is September 9.
It may be noted that, unlike the last Muscat Nights, which stretched between December 2024 and January 2025, and later extended till February, the upcoming edition is expected to begin from the New Year.
Recently, Muscat Municipality floated a bid seeking to contract with a company specializing in promotion and marketing to implement integrated promotional programs for Muscat Nights 2026, and mentioned it will be held between January 1 and January 31, 2026, in several locations in Muscat.
The last to submit the bid is September 21, 2025. It has invited bids for the participation in the design, build, operation, and management of Kids World for Muscat Nights 2026.
It may be noted that Muscat Nights 2025 was held around several locations, including the Naseem, Qurum Natural, and Amerat parks.
The Muscat Nights 2025 attracted over 1.7 million local and foreign visitors and over 1,000 small and medium enterprises participated in Muscat Nights, which was held at Qum National Park, Al Amerat Park, Naseem Park, Oman Automobile Association, Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, Seeb Beach, Wadi Al Khoudh, Sur Al Hadeed, Muscat Grand Mall, Al Araimi Boulevard, and Seeb Bowling Centre.
The Qurum National Park hosted the first-ever Muscat Flower Festival with over a million flowers from more than 20 countries, as well as the Food Festival and the Global Village showcased the cultural heritage and traditional products of some countries.
Drone shows and fireworks were regular highlights of Muscat Nights.
The erstwhile Muscat Festival began in 1998 and was designed as a place to keep children entertained during the school holidays, but over the years it has evolved to be one of the largest cultural events in the country.
