

MUSCAT: Qais bin Mohammed al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, held a video conference on Thursday with Dr Amer Bisat, Lebanon’s Minister of Economy and Trade.
The meeting focused on strengthening trade and investment cooperation and exploring new avenues for partnership between the two nations. Both ministers reviewed opportunities for collaboration in several key areas, including boosting investments, developing industries and leveraging their strategic locations through the logistics sector.
They also discussed the feasibility of launching a direct flight route between Muscat and Beirut, which would positively impact tourism and trade exchange. The meeting further touched upon a proposal to organise an Omani-Lebanese economic forum and an accompanying exhibition for Lebanese industries. — ONA
