MUSCAT: Maj Gen Hamid bin Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies (ASDS), received in his office at Bait Al Falaj on Sunday a delegation from King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz College for Command and Staff of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s National Guard.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed a range of matters of common interest, notably in academic fields.
The meeting was attended by several senior officers from the Academy of Strategic and Defence Studies.
Meanwhile, the visiting delegation also visited the Joint Command and Staff College at the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies.
Upon the delegation’s arrival at the college, they were received by Brigadier Saif bin Hamad al Yousefi, Commandant of the Joint Command and Staff College.
During the visit, the delegation watched a presentation on the college and its curricula, as well as its training and educational programmes. Moreover, the delegation toured the college’s facilities and departments. — ONA
