ACCRA: Ghana’s defence minister Edward Omane Boamah and environment, science and technology minister Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed have died in a military helicopter crash, a government spokesperson said on Wednesday. According to initial reports, the top officials were aboard a Z-9 helicopter en route to Obuasi when the aircraft went off radar. Emergency response teams rushed to the crash site following the incident. — Reuters
