MUSCAT: Firefighting teams of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) in Al Batinah North Governorate, in coordination with emergency teams of OQ Refineries, responded on Thursday to a fire that broke out in a storage tank at the company’s facility. The incident was swiftly brought under control through a joint response effort. The CDAA confirmed that its teams reached the site promptly and provided support to the company’s specialised firefighting units already engaged in containing the blaze. No injuries or casualties were reported as a result of the fire.
