Five killed, eleven injured in multi-car collision in Dhofar

Dhofar: The Royal Oman Police has reported a tragic collision involving three vehicles on Sultan Said bin Taimur Road, shortly after Maqshan in Dhofar Governorate, at 7:00 AM this morning.


Initial findings confirm the death of five individuals — two Omani citizens and three citizens of the sisterly United Arab Emirates. Additionally, eleven others sustained injuries of varying severity. The injured include two Omani nationals and nine Emirati citizens, among them five children.


Authorities are continuing investigations to determine the cause of the accident, while emergency teams responded promptly to provide necessary medical assistance at the scene.
