DUBAI: Wizz Air Abu Dhabi said all flights to and from the United Arab Emirates on Thursday were cancelled, following a Wizz Air Group decision announced on Tuesday to cancel all flights to and from the country until June 30. A 12-day war between Iran and Israel this month prompted international airlines to halt flights to some Middle East destinations due to air space closures and safety concerns.

A ceasefire took effect on Tuesday. Wizz Air Abu Dhabi is a joint venture between Hungary's Wizz Air and the Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund (ADQ).
