ROP warns against fraudulent text messages

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), represented by the General Directorate of Customs, has issued a warning regarding fraudulent text messages currently being circulated.


According to the ROP, these messages are part of online scams targeting individuals, urging the public to exercise caution and verify information through official channels.


Meanwhile, people are strongly advised not to share any personal or banking information with unauthorised parties or suspicious sources.
