Muscat: The General Directorate of Inquiries and Criminal Investigations of the Royal Oman Police (ROP) has warned of fraudulent advertisements circulating on social media claiming to offer domestic workers at attractive prices.

These scams trick victims into clicking on an embedded electronic link through which financial amounts are withdrawn from their accounts.

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) urged the public to avoid responding to such deceptive advertisements, refrain from opening any unknown electronic links, and never disclose personal or banking information through social media platforms.
