Omani co-driver Mohammed al Mazroui will set in the co-driver seat when he participates in the first round of the Qatar off road Championship with Emirati Driver Noura al Jassasi in a Can-Am Mavericks T2.


Al Mazroui has extensive experience as a navigator in the roads and stages of the Gulf rallies, having been an assistant and navigator for many Omani competitors in the Sultanate of Oman’s rallies and the Middle East rallies in Qatar, Jordan and other rallies in the region. The experience of the other navigator, Taha Soomar, in international participations with various drivers will also play an important and vital role in leading his team towards the appropriate tracks in the rally and achieving the first places if possible, as Soomar’s experience as a navigator is close to twenty years.


The last participation of navigator Mohammed al Mazroui with driver Zakaria al Amari was in the Qatar International Rally 2025, where he and Al Amari were able to lead the Group (N) category in a Subaru Impreza , with successful navigation from Mohammed al Mazroui. Al Mazroui, who also has extensive experience on Can-Am cars as a driver and navigator, seeks to achieve a distinctive result in his first participation with the Emirati driver Noura al Jassasi As for navigator Taha Soomar, his last participation was also in Qatar with competitor Abdullah al Zubair in the Qatar International Rally. He previously worked with champion Khaled Soomar and other competitor from Jordan, including Shaker Juwaihan and others.


Regarding this participation, which is Al Mazroui's first race with competitor Noura al Jassassi, who is participating for the first time in Qatar off road rallies, he said, "I am happy, first of all , to participate in the Qatar off road Rally and its first round. The Qatar Rally is not new to me, and I have participated in many events here, especially the Middle East Championship. I have good experience in the local stages.


As for the competitor Taha Soomar, he confirmed that he hopes to succeed in this participation and to help the competitor Ahmed al Mohannadi to achieve a positive and distinctive result in this race, He also hopes that everyone will emerge safe after the end of the round, and he hopes to stand on the podium.
