An international media delegation comprising 26 journalists from 16 media organisations across 10 countries visited Musandam as part of a tour organised by the Ministry of Information.
The visit aimed to highlight Oman’s rich cultural, historical, and natural diversity while showcasing the governorate’s economic and social development.
In coordination with the Musandam Governor’s Office, the delegation toured key landmarks and gained insights into the governorate’s economic, tourism, and investment progress.
During their visit, they met with Ibrahim bin Said al Busaidi, Governor of Musandam, who presented the area’s strategic vision for growth and development.
The governor outlined major projects and initiatives aimed at positioning Musandam as a prime destination for tourism and investment.
During the event, he emphasised the governorate’s strategic significance as the gateway to the Arabian Gulf and a key global maritime hub through the Strait of Hormuz.
