Ankara: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has conferred the Order of Commendation on Prof Dr Uğur Ünal, President of Gazi University and former Head of the State Archives of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, in recognition of his significant contributions to enhancing cultural and scientific cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Türkiye.
The medal was presented by Saif bin Rashid al Jahwari, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Türkiye, during a ceremony held at the embassy in Ankara.
