The final camel race competitions kicked off on Saturday morning at the Wilayat of Suhar camel race track. The event, supported and organised by the Oman Camel Racing Federation (OCRF), will continue until January 30, with participation from Sultanate of Oman camels in addition to the GCC participation. The six days will witness around 3,000 camels competing in 100 rounds across different age categories during the morning and evening periods. 23 cars, daggers, silver and gold swords await the winners in the main round, with the top ten receiving cash prizes.
