

MUSCAT: The Family Creativity Forum activities kicks off today, December 2 till 6, to highlight and support the creativity of productive with the participation of more than 80 productive families. The forum organised by the Ministry of Social Development (MoSD), will be represented by the General Directorate of Partnership and Community Development, under the auspices of Her Highness Sayyidah Dr Mona bint Fahd bin Mahmood al Said, Assistant Vice-Chancellor for International Cooperation at Sultan Qaboos University.
This forum hosted by Muscat Mall for five days, is an opportunity for communication between producers, consumers, and business owners to encourage future business partnerships, a vital platform to support innovation, and an emphasis on the importance of partnership between government and private institutions in promoting social and economic development.
"This forum is focusing on the creativity of productive families and supporting them by opening permanent and temporary marketing outlets that enable them to display and market their products on a wider scale, and enhancing the productive capabilities of these families and developing their skills in a way that achieves sustainable development and contributes to improving their economic income," said Mawaheb al Hadi, a data analyst at the Ministry of Social Development.
This forum includes many activities and events, such as entertainment programmes, marketing opportunities that contribute to improving families' economic levels and enhancing their role in society as an effective part of the development system, and various display stands for productive families to display the ministry's services.
The forum will see the participation of more than 400 productive families from various governorates, as its first stop was last November in Al Buraimi Governorate, followed by the governorates of Al Sharqiyah North, Al Batinah North, Al Wusta, Musandam, Al Dhahirah, Al Dakhiliyah, and Al Batinah South. It will also be held soon in the governorates of Dhofar, Al Sharqiyah South, in the Wilayat of Sur from December 4 to 8.
