Nizwa University celebrates graduation of 1,161 students

Nizwa: The University of Nizwa on Wednesday celebrated the graduation of 1,161 students in the masters and higher diploma programmes.



The ceremony was held under the auspices of Dr Hilal Ali al Sabti, Minister of Health, and was attended by members of the State Council and Shura Council, along with officials, university staff, and families.



Professor Ahmed Khalfan al Rawahi, the University's chancellor, welcomed attendees and praised the University's role in advancing Oman's Vision 2040.



He emphasized the importance of continuous learning in an era of rapid technological advancement, stating, “Lifelong learning and adaptability are essential in today’s world.”

Speaking on behalf of his peers, graduate Badr Khamis al Dhafri expressed gratitude for the support and guidance provided by the university’s faculty.



The ceremony featured the awarding of degrees, a film highlighting the university’s achievements, and a poem presented by student Bayan Said al Abri.



The event marked a significant milestone for the University of Nizwa in its commitment to fostering academic excellence and supporting Oman’s development.
