Salalah: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, went on a Royal tour of military units of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) in Sarfait, Dhofar Governorate on Monday.
Upon his arrival at Sarfait Camp, His Majesty the Sultan was received by Maj Gen Mattar Salim al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO), the Commander of the 11th Infantry Brigade and the Commander of the Northern Frontier Regiment.
His Majesty the Sultan shook hands with the officers of the RAO military sites at the camp.
Then, His Majesty the Sultan listened to a briefing about the military units, their equipment and the national roles they undertake.
During his field tour, His Majesty the Sultan took note of supplies in a number of military sites.
At the conclusion of his visit, His Majesty the Supreme Commander posed for a commemorative photo with the officers of the military sites, and later left the camp.
