MUSCAT: A delegation from the National Defence College of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, headed by Lt Gen Mohammed Saiful Alam, Commandant of the college, on Monday visited the Joint Command and Staff College.
Upon their arrival at the college, the guests were greeted by Brigadier Saif Hamad al Yousifi, Commandant of the Joint Command and Staff College.
The visiting delegation watched a presentation about the college and its training and educational programmes. They also toured the college’s various facilities and departments.
Moreover, the delegation also visited the National Defence College (NDC) at Bait Al Falaj Garrison.
Upon their arrival at the NDC, they were received by Rear Admiral Ali Abdullah al Shidi, Commandant of the NDC.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed several matters of mutual interest.
The guests were briefed on the NDC and its facilities.
Further, within the framework of the visiting delegation’s programme in Oman, they were received by Maj Gen Hamid Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies in his office at Bait Al Falaj garrison.
During this meeting, the two sides discussed several academic matters of common concern. - ONA
