AMMAN: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, accompanied by King Abdallah II Ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on Thursday visited the Jordan Museum in Amman as part of His Majesty the Sultan’s 'State Visit' to the Kingdom.

Immediately upon the arrival of the motorcade of His Majesty the Sultan and the King of Jordan to the Jordan Museum — accompanied by Prince Al Hussein bin Abdallah II, Crown Prince of Jordan, the monarchs were received by Princess Sumaya bint Al Hussein, Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Jordan Museum.

His Majesty the Sultan toured the Museum and listened to a comprehensive statement about the edifice’s exhibits dating back one and a half million years ago. The monument showcases the historical legacy of the land of Jordan, from the Palaeolithic era (the Old Stone Age) until the present time.
