Salalah: A weather expert has predicted that the Dhofar Governorate will experience rain throughout the next week starting from Friday or Saturday, marking the beginning of the autumn (Khareef) season.

According to the weather forecaster, the rain will be scattered at first, but will become heavier and more widespread as the days go by.

He added that temperatures are expected to drop significantly during this period.

The expert pointed out that these rains will be very beneficial for boosting humidity in the region, providing groundwater, and improving plant growth.
