New weather condition likely to bring rain next week

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman is expected to embrace another weather condition next week, an official at Oman Meteorology said.


An air trough of low pressure is likely to affect the Sultanate’s atmosphere on April 24-25, Mohammad al Mashaikhi, a meteorologist at Oman Met said to al Wisal FM.


Director-General of Oman Meteorology Office, Abdallah al Khadhuri, said in an online statement, “As specialists at the National Multiple Hazards Early Warning Centre pointed out, there are preliminary indications that the atmosphere of the Sultanate of Oman will be affected by a new weather condition at the end of the next week.”
