KUWAIT: Oman College of Health Sciences and the Ministry of Health of the State of Kuwait signed a cooperation agreement to boost the nursing field and develop the skills of healthcare professionals.

The agreement includes the implementation of several specialised programmes to train nursing staff with the aim of enhancing their scientific and practical skills. The project kicked off with the implementation of training in critical care nursing for adults, followed by paediatric critical care nursing, scheduled to commence in mid-May.

This collaboration aims to exchange knowledge and experiences between the two parties, and develop training and education curricula to meet the needs of the nursing job market, ultimately improving the quality of healthcare provided in hospitals and medical centres. — ONA
