Agreement signed to design, construct Dibba-Khasab road

MUSCAT: To the tune of more than RO 151 million, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology on Sunday signed a project agreement for the design and implementation of Dibba-Lima-Khasab road and the road link to Musandam Governorate’s Lima district.


Concluded with Al Sarooj Construction Company, the agreement provides for designing and constructing a 70-km road starting from the Wilayat of Dibba to the Wilayat of Khasab, via Lima.


The agreement was signed by Eng Said bin Hamoud al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology and Ghazi Al Helou, executive member of Al Sarooj Construction company’s board.


The signing ceremony was attended by Sultan bin Salim al Habsi, Minister of Finance, and Sayyid Ibrahim bin Said al Busaidy, Governor of Musandam. - ONA
