Muscat: Three nurses of the Nizwa Hospital were killed following a run-over accident in front of the hospital, according to the Directorate General of Hospital in the Dhakiliyah Governorate.
Two nurses were Indian expatriates while the third person was an Egyptian expatriate.
The accident happened when the nurses were walking from Nizwa Hospital to their residence. They were standing on the divider to cross the second section of the road when two vehicles that collided with each other hit them. They were rushed to a nearby hospital but could not survive.
Two nurses were also injured in the incident.
