A group of expatriates came together to share the message of Ramadhan and presented gifts to children of Dar Al Hanan and their families recently.

The group named TEAM (Thiruvananthapuram Expat Association Muscat) in coordination with Oman Cancer Association paid a visit to Dar Al Hanan where children aging from 1 year to 16 years are undergoing cancer treatment at the Royal Hospital and Sultan Qaboos University Hospital.

They are from financially backward background and do not have the capabilities for spending money for their stay, and are accommodated in a villa in Al Ghubra managed by Dar Al Hanan.

These kids are from various parts of Oman and also from countries like Syria, Yemen, and the like. Their meals and accommodation and transportation are taken care of through contributions from various supporters.

"We are thankful to the Oman Cancer Association for providing us the opportunity to visit this humanitarian project and be a part of the noble causes being undertaken here," a member of the TEAM told the Observer.
