As winter continues in the Sultanate of Oman, we find many people rushing to camps and enjoying the weather, the mountainous terrains, and beautiful beaches, to escape from the noise of the cities and the crowded streets, where there are open skies and stunning views.
Citizens and resident of Oman are keen to design their camps in different ways, usually by adding heritage touches, including furnishings that symbolise Omani heritage, as well as modern features such as sadu and others.
In a traditional atmosphere of poetry houses, aspects of Omani culture are reflected.
Winter camps have contributed in creating tourism activity in many governorates, in addition to enhancing economic activity and employing young people who manage them in a competitive environment.
We find some youth projects adopting these winter camps. One of these projects is the Reveal Camp of Nooh Nasser al Wahaibi, which extends to Dibab Beach in the Wilayat of Qurayat.
Nooh al Wahaibi runs this project with passion, love and diligence and promotes tourism in the country.
The camp is very popular with tourists and citizens, and it continues throughout the year, and witnesses great demand during winter due to the wonderful climate.
The camp provides space for group of activities and events, such as a designated place for children, group games suitable for family members, and a movie screen, with the character of Bedouin life, campgrounds and the facilities that come with it, and gives a competitive advantage and added value for the customers.
The biggest obstacle to such projects was the financial support needed for continuity and development. It is hoped that the authorities and private entities will support Omani youth in various projects that contribute to the economy.
People can get more details of these camps on Instagram and other social media platforms. These camps are also suitable for family and youth gatherings and end-of-year parties. As the demand is more during season, reservation is preferred.
