Students return to classes after a mid-year vacation

Muscat: Students across the Sultanate of Oman returned on Sunday to their schools after a one-month-long vacation as the second school semester begins today and will end on July 11.


The exam period for the end of this semester for students in grades (5-11) in public and private schools that apply the government evaluation system and GED exams with their associated correction period is scheduled to end on July 6.


Meanwhile, 13 new school buildings will be opened during this current semester in the governorates of Muscat, Dhofar, South Al Batinah, North Al Batinah, and South Al Sharqiyah.
