Muscat: Renowned journalist Abdullah bin Said al Shuaili passed away following a road accident on Friday.
Al Shuaili has been a well-known and popular broadcast journalist on Oman TV, anchoring several programmes covering a variety of subjects, including interviews with prominent figures.
In a statement issued to the family members of Al Shuaili, the Ministry of Information, the Oman Journalist's Association, and the media organizations expressed their condolences.
Many of his former colleagues have expressed condolences, saying he contributed to the growth of the media in the Sultanate of Oman with sincerity.
