One die in accident at Muscat-Nizwa road

Muscat: One died in a an accident on Wednesday when a truck loaded with debris crashed on the Muscat-Nizwa Road in the state of Bidbid.


The incident occurred earlier today as the truck, carrying a heavy load of dirt, experienced a failure, causing the cargo to spill onto the Muscat-Nizwa Road. Tragically, the load landed on a passing vehicle, resulting in the death of its driver.


​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Royal Oman Police have reported the incident and issued a warning regarding traffic interruptions in the area.


The Royal Oman Police have swiftly responded to the scene, coordinating efforts to clear the debris and manage traffic flow in the affected area. Motorists traveling on the Muscat-Nizwa Road are urged to exercise caution and expect delays as cleanup operations are underway.
