MUSCAT: The Sultanate of Oman will be affected by a trough of low pressure from Thursday to Sunday, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) announced.

Scattered rains will be expected on the governorates of Musandam and North Al Batinah on Thursday evening with chances of low clouds pouring into the coasts of Musandam and the Sea of Oman and parts of the Arabian Sea.

North-westerly active winds are expected to blow on deserts bringing dust storms. High sea waves are expected on the coasts of Musandam and North Al Batinah on Thursday. The sea condition is predicted to gradually change from moderate to rough over much of the country’s seas from Friday to Sunday with chances of north-westerly active winds and low temperatures.
