The National Zero Carbon Program, in collaboration with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, organized today in Muscat the first Entrepreneurship Forum under the theme "On Our Way to Zero Carbon - Opportunities and Growth." The forum aims to support initiatives, projects, and promising opportunities that work towards reducing carbon emissions.


The event was organized to enhance the strategic partnership between government entities and the private sector, stimulate entrepreneurs, and showcase available opportunities for small and medium enterprises to work on projects supporting zero carbon initiatives and reducing carbon emissions.

The forum included panel discussions that focused on introducing the National Zero Carbon Program, discussing initiatives and promising projects for entrepreneurs, and highlighting technologies and innovations supporting zero carbon goals. The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority delivered a visual presentation on programs supporting entrepreneurs and their specialized institutions, covering areas such as financing, contract funding, readiness, added local value, marketing, and promotion.


The forum also featured dialogues with participants to explore opportunities, understand challenges facing entrepreneurs in the sector, and present successful experiences in small and medium enterprises working on reducing carbon emissions.
