SALALAH: The GCC Forum on Youth Volunteering 2023, code-named “Isnad”, kicked off on Monday. The event, hosted by the Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, is held at Sultan Qaboos Complex for Youth, Culture and Entertainment in Salalah.
Thirty two youth from GCC countries are taking part in the forum, which runs till August 11, 2023.
The forum includes several workshops and lectures that cover a spectrum of topics, such as the definition of volunteering, challenges facing volunteering and managing volunteer projects.
It also highlights successful models of pioneer youth initiatives in the volunteering field, as well as exchanging experiences and expertise in the same sphere. — ONA
