

Nizwa: The University of Nizwa on Sunday held graduation ceremony of its 16th batch of Master's and Education Higher Diploma degree holders.
In total, 736 students graduated from Nizwa University with Master's degrees and Higher Education Diplomas.
The graduation ceremony was under the auspices of of Dr Laila Ahmed al Najjar, Minister of Social Development, accompanied by the University Chancellor, Prof Ahmed Khalfan al Rawahi, and respected deans of colleges and deanships of the University.
The ceremony was attended by renowned dignitaries in academia and community honourable guests.
During the ceremony, Professor Al Rawahi delivered speech on behalf of the University affiliates during which he emphasized the significance of the knowledge they have gained during their advanced academic journey, along with the fundamental values and skills they have acquired. He confidently asserted that they are now well-equipped to utilise these tools to fulfil their aspirations and achieve their dreams.
The Graduation ceremony included a graduate speech delivered on behalf of the graduates by Hilal Salem al Sawafi, a master's degree student. In his speech, he expressed a deep sense of pride and gratitude towards the University and all its affiliates who have played a crucial role in facilitating their academic journey. It was a moment of great pride and accomplishment for everyone involved.
It was a sight to behold as the esteemed alumni of the University donned their graduation gowns, radiating with pride and accomplishment. With a total of 736 graduates, including 703 Higher Diploma recipients and 33 Master's degree holders, the ceremony was a testament to their unwavering dedication and commitment to excellence.
