In a captivating segment of the Al Din International Theatre Festival 2023, renowned children's storyteller Ahmed Al Rashdi took the stage, weaving enchanting tales for young audiences under the theme ‘We See You Everywhere: Palestine.’

Al Rashdi presented two evocative stories titled ‘Between the Broken Olive Branch’ and ‘The Stories of Proud Palestine.’

These tales were crafted to impart essential moral values, introduce children to the rich cultures and heritages of Palestine and Oman, and foster a sense of cultural identity, all in support of the Palestinian cause.

Al Rashdi used folk stories to make these lessons easily accessible and enjoyable for the young listeners, a timely message given the current events in Palestine and the challenges it faces due to ongoing conflicts.

Reflecting on his participation, Al Rashdi expressed the profound impact of the Al Din International Theatre Festival on his career.

He described it as a unique and invaluable experience with a global reach, further enhancing his literary and professional journey.

He also highlighted the opportunity to engage with distinguished figures in the artistic and theatrical realms, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and skills.

The Al Din International Theatre Festival stands as a pivotal event in the Omani artistic landscape, bringing together theatre artists from diverse nations to share their experiences, expertise, and cultural awareness.

The festival, running from October 22 to 31, is hosted at the Omani Automobile Association, serving as a significant platform for artistic exchange and cultural enrichment.

It's important to note that the Al Din Theatre Group, established in 1994, remains a breeding ground for the most prominent talents in Omani theatre, continuing to illuminate the stage with their creative brilliance.
