MUSCAT: Acting in cooperation with the Omani Society for Human Resources Management (OSHRM), the Ministry of Labour on Thursday organised a symposium titled “Improving Leadership Capabilities” in government and private sectors.


More than 250 general managers, executive directors and human resources and training managers took part in the symposium, which was held at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC), under the auspices of Minister of Labour, Dr Mahad bin Said Baowain.


The symposium explored new methods for assessing leaders in public and private sectors, building high-performance teams and consolidating core values when organising teamwork. It also laid emphasis on the potential of women in the field of leadership and innovation. - ONA
