Muscat - The Ministry of Labour, represented by the Directorate General of Labour Welfare (Joint Inspection Team), in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police, carried out an inspection campaign on private houses in the Governorate of Muscat where unlicensed activities were practiced.

As a result of the campaign, 30 workers were arrested in violation of the provisions of the Labour Law.

Legal procedures are currently underway against them, the Ministry said in a statement on its official social media account.

The campaign was part of the Ministry's ongoing efforts to regulate the labor market and ensure that all workers are employed in accordance with the law.

The Ministry urged the public to report any suspected cases of unlicensed work or violations of the Labour Law to the nearest Ministry of Labour office.
