Muscat: Shaikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammad al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah, and the delegation accompanying him on Tuesday visited the Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM).
Al Qasimi toured ROHM during which he was briefed on the House, its facilities and shows, as well as its year-long programme.
He also viewed the ROHM unique architectural designs creatively combining Omani architectural and cultural legacy with the architectural cultures from different continents of the world.
Shaikh Dr Sultan al Qasimi also visited the House of Musical Arts and viewed a musical show of Omani sung heritage and modern folklore.At the conclusion of his visit to ROHM, Shaikh Dr Sultan Al Qasimi, signed the Senior Visitors' Register.
In his word, Al Qasimi expressed his happiness at visiting ROHM. He also lauded ROHM’s efforts and role in portraying cultural and architectural heritage.
