Ruler of Sharjah visits the National Museum

Muscat - Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah, visited the National Museum on Wednesday, as part of his official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.


The Rule of Sharjah and his accompanying delegation toured the museum and its corridors, which highlight important aspects of the history and civilization of the Sultanate of Oman


He observed the number of collectibles that embody the established fraternal relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates, most notably a curved sword gifted in the year 2004, and a model of Qasr Al Hosn in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, gifted in 1999 on the occasion of the demarcation of the border between two countries, from Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan to Late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.


Jamal bin Hassan Al Moosawi, Secretary-General of the National Museum, presented a number of National Museum publications as a gift to Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi.


The Ruler of Sharjah was accompanied during the visit by Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al Harrasi, Minister of Information.
