Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has welcomed the detainee-swap deal between the USA and Iran, and appreciated the great cooperation of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America with the efforts made by the Sultanate of Oman and the sisterly State of Qatar in this regard.
Oman hopes that positive steps will continue in a way that preserves regional stability and consolidates international peace and security principles.
